We finally stopped at Roma Pizza in Lake Helen after driving past it so many times on our way to DeLand. The parking lot is always full, so we knew it had to be good—and it was even better than we expected. The brothers who run the place are so nice, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. It really does feel like you’re eating in someone’s home kitchen. We tried a mix—pepperoni, cheese, a veggie slice with spinach, mushrooms, and tomatoes, plus a stuffed slice that was like a calzone. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the garlic knots? Perfectly soft, buttery, and amazing with the marinara. It’s easy to see how this place has a 4.9 rating—it’s well deserved. We’ll definitely be back.

From the authentic Italian cooking to the phenomenal service, Roma pizza in Lake Helen is one spot you can’t afford to miss.. Luigi and the rest of the staff including Gracie and Sofia are welcoming and super helpful with any questions about their awesome menu. Every time I’ve eaten at Roma, I feel as if I’m eating at a dear friends home. Please… don’t pass up on a slice.. or two. Thanks Roma!

A hidden gem worth discovering! This Italian pizzeria truly impressed me. I had a slice of Sicilian pizza and some bruschetta — both were absolutely delicious. The pizza was crispy with just the right amount of cheese, and the bruschetta tasted fresh and full of flavor. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and family-friendly. Everything was clean and well-kept. If you’re looking for authentic Italian food in a welcoming setting, I highly recommend this place. I’ll definitely be coming back

Accidentally found this amazing pizza place on a roadtrip. Probably the BEST pizza I’ve had in years. And I’m from Italy, so I know pizza! Super Hot and delicious! Crispy and great form. Food Critic - Dave Portnoy would approve !!! If you are close definitely a must!
